Paid Internships: State by State Comparison (Draft)
GAE is working with selected legislators to introduce a bill to provide State funding for candidates during internships. GAE has agreed to allow GACTE to forward the information, as well as post the State by State Paid Internship programs. This may be helpful as we begin to address this much needed option–how they work and how they are funded. Georgia’s Teacher Pipeline Collaborative is a partnership study including the Georgia Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (GACTE), the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE), the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE), and the Georgia Association of Educators (GAE).
